About The Position

POSITION SUMMARY External offers made for this position are eligible to receive up to a $5,000 Sign-On Bonus. Performs mammographic examinations including special procedure examinations under the direction of the department supervisor and radiologist.

Requirements

• High School graduate or equivalent.
• Graduate of an approved radiologic technology program.
• Demonstrates the ability to function as a team member and to work cooperatively and communicate effectively with patients, staff members and physicians.
• Registered with the ARRT-Mammography in good standing and maintain compliance with continuing education requirements.
• Maintains ACR requirements of 200 mammograms every two years and 15 CEC in mammography every three years.
• Meets the American Heart Association’s standards for Healthcare Provider Basic Life Support (BLS) and renews BLS every two years.

Nice To Haves

• Preference given to those with mammography and bone density experience.
• Registered with the ARRT in Bone Density preferred.
