Requirements

• High school graduate or equivalent
• Graduate of an AMA approved school of Radiologic Technology
• Registered or eligible for registry by the ARRT in Radiography
• Registered or eligible for registry by the ARRT in Mammography
• BLS required.

Responsibilities

• Perform a variety of functions including the administration of ionizing radiation to specific portions of the human anatomy to produce medical images of high diagnostic value.
• Comply with standards set forth by the ARRT, JCAHO, FDA, MQSA, ACR, federal and state regulatory bodies, and the hospital.
