About The Position

The Mammography Technologist will assists the radiologist(s) and primary practitioners by obtaining the best possible mammograms and general radiographs for interpretation according to departmental policies and procedures. The Mammography Technologist will also perform tasks and duties as outlined in the Radiology Department's Policy and Procedure Manual. Will assist in assigned administrative tasks and will maintain clinical competencies (including diagnostic and invasive procedures) through participation in educational and orientation programs. Requirements

• Education required to receive MSRT.
• Montana Radiologic Technologist certification upon hire.
• National Registered Technologist - Radiography certification from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists upon hire.
• National Registered Technologist - Mammography certification within 1 year of hire.
• National Provider BLS certification from the American Heart Association upon hire.
