About The Position

The Mammography Tech 2 arranges patients for Mammography examinations. Produces Mammography images to aid in the diagnosis of medical problems. Prevents patient from being exposed to unnecessary radiation. Ensures patient safety by using pre-established imaging protocols, and screenings for of all patients. Utilizes departmental policy to perform safe operation of equipment and all functions of the job. Provides complete pre and post education to patients and family. Able to evaluate competency level of others as preceptor. Reports to Supervisor or Manager.
