Requirements

  • Graduate of a certified Radiologic Technology school or program.
  • At least three years’ experience in General Radiology and Mammography.
  • Current applicable state licensure in Radiologic Technologist Diagnostic required.
  • Mammography Certification (ARRT-M) required.
  • Registered Radiological Technologist (ARRT-R) required.

Nice To Haves

  • One year of supervisory experience preferred.
  • Supervisory course work and working knowledge of Continuous Quality Improvement (CQI) principles preferred.
  • Medical terminology and computer experience preferred.
  • Knowledge of MQSA requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinates area functions to allow services to be delivered expediently and efficiently through effective organization of staff and workflow.
  • Maintains knowledge of department procedures in order to provide assistance throughout the patient care continuum.
  • Performs imaging procedures according to physician's orders and screening protocols, utilizing knowledge and judgment in regard to exposure factors, imaging technique, and patient care.
  • Proficient in the fields of General Radiology and Mammography.
  • Assures compliance with MQSA standards.
