Unified Mammography Services (UMAMS), a subsidiary of Unified Women’s Healthcare, is a comprehensive solution for in-office Mammography services. We utilize top-of-the-line equipment and expert staff with exceptional standards of care. Embedded within our network of affiliated OBGYN provider practices, this offers patients an intimate and familiar in-office environment, offering a convenient one-stop solution for well-women visits and annual screening mammograms. Unified Mammography Services is seeking a Mammography Technologist Intern R.T. to R.T. (M) for its Mammography office at an affiliated practice in Novi, MI. The Mammography Technologist is a Radiologic Technologist who performs Mammography procedures at a clinical and technical level not requiring constant supervision. The Mammography Technologist administers ionizing radiation to aid in the detection and diagnosis of breast disease through 2D/3D imaging exams. The Mammographer ensures a high level of quality and service is delivered to all organizational customers. When not performing mammography exams, the technologist will assist the operations manager with quality requirements and general administrative duties to complete patient care. Completion of MQSA requirement and reimbursement after obtaining a Mammography license. Location: 25500 Meadowbrook Rd STE 120 Novi, MI 48375 Work Schedule: This position is for 30 hours + a week.

Requirements

  • High School diploma or GED from an accredited program
  • ARRT registered with 0-3 years of clinical experience
  • Graduate of an AMA approved school of Radiologic Technology
  • 40-hour mammography training approved by the ARRT
  • Must obtain a Mammography License within one year of the hire date

Responsibilities

  • Perform Mammography Imaging and Quality Control
  • Complete Patient Information Requirements and Paperwork
  • Converse with Radiologist about Mammographic Exams
  • Support Manager with MQSA and ACR Requirements
  • Administrative Work to Complete Exams for Interpretation
  • All other job requests as assigned by Mammography Operations Manager, Director of Imaging Operations, or Care Center Administrator
