About The Position

Mammography Technologist II Position Highlights: • Sign on Bonus: $10,000 • Full Time/Part Time: Full Time, 40 hours • Location: Highland Park, IL • Hours: Day shift 9-5:30pm, rotating weekends • Required Travel: Yes- local to other sites What you will do: Under the direction of a Staff Radiologist, performs Mammography examinations at a level of optimum technical quality for use by physicians in diagnosing and treating patients, in accordance with departmental standards, policies, and procedures. Performs a variety of technical and clerical duties that will require independent judgement, ingenuity, and initiative to apply Mammography procedures. Maintains a high standard of quality care and adheres to the ACR guidelines while obtaining imaging. Ensures patient safety during examination. Explains procedures with tactful manners when there is a need for additional imaging. Perform specialized exams under the direction of the staff radiologist

Requirements

  • High School degree or equivalent
  • CPR certification required.
  • ARRT in Mammography required.
  • IEMA
  • Mammography experience required.
  • Proficiency with word processing and computer skills required; typing 25-35 wpm.
