This position is full-time, requiring 40 hours per week and involves performing Diagnostic Radiographic and CT Scan, MRI, or Mammography according to department protocols and regulations. The role includes being the first line of interaction with customers and ensuring their imaging needs are met while participating in performance improvement activities.

  • Positions patients and sets technical factors for all diagnostic procedures.
  • Sets high personal standards for film and image quality.
  • Follows department exam protocols and independently recognizes and performs necessary duties.
  • Establishes priorities and organizes work to meet them effectively.
  • Greets patients, confirms identification, and reviews imaging requests.
  • Ensures all exams are accurately labeled with patient ID and other required information.
  • Maintains compliance with regulatory standards and hospital policies.
  • Assists Radiologist with therapeutic procedures and prepares necessary supplies.
  • Documents all medication reactions and maintains a clean workplace.
  • Conducts job-specific orientation and on-the-job training for department employees.
  • Reports equipment malfunctions and attends mandatory in-service training.
  • Graduate of a program accredited by JRCERT.
  • ARRT (R) and ARRT (CT), or ARRT (M), or ARRT (MR) is required.
  • Must be registered, proficient, and able to work unsupervised in 2 modalities.
  • Current applicable state licenses are required.
  • BLS/CPR certification required within one week of hire.
  • Ability to demonstrate adequate technical skills and judgment to function unsupervised during on-call, second shift, and weekend hours.
