We’re a premier manager of outpatient diagnostic imaging facilities, including 9 breast centers, dedicated to our team members' growth and development through our internal multi-modality training program, and we want you.

Location: 315 Lillington Avenue Charlotte, North Carolina 28204 United States
Position Type: Full-Time
Work Schedule Details: 40 hours per week, possibility of 4x10

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited radiologic technology program
• Certification in Mammography
• ARRT registered and Mammography registry
• Completed required CEU’s in a timely manner to ensure Certification remains active
• Active state licensure, where applicable
• 0 years of experience as a Mammography Technologist
• Compassionate bedside manner and strong communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with physicians and other healthcare professionals
• Familiarity with Epic electronic medical records (EMR) systems.
• Continuing education in diagnostic mammography and related fields.

Responsibilities

• Perform screening mammograms under supervision
• Assist in patient education and preparation
• Ensure the patient’s comfort and safety during and after the mammography procedure.
• Maintain patient records and add medical notes related to the mammography procedure.
• Perform equipment maintenance and sterilization to maintain the mammography machine in optimal condition.
• Communicate effectively with patients, explaining procedures and ensuring patient comfort.
• Participate in quality assurance procedures to maintain high standards of practice.
• Stay informed about the latest developments and trends in diagnostic mammography.
• Utilize Epic electronic medical records (EMR) system for patient documentation and record-keeping.
