Get to Know Your Team: Hackensack Meridian Pascack Valley Medical Center is a 128-bed, full-service, acute-care community hospital with a new emergency department, a state-of-the-art maternity center, a women's imaging center, and an ICU.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology.
• 1+ years of experience performing Mammograms.
• Registered by ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) and certified in Mammography.
• Licensed by the State of New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection Bureau of X-ray Compliance.
• BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care.
• Rate of pay is determined based on experience and education, and may include other pay components such as differentials and call pay based on role.

Responsibilities

• Assisting in the delivery of personalized, professional and quality patient care
• Internal and external customer service
• Performance of all diagnostic x-ray examinations
• Transportation of patients to and from Imaging Services
• Preparation of all departmental paperwork
• Answering the department’s telephone
• Scheduling of patients
• Entering and retrieving patient information from the Picture Archiving Communication System (PACS) and Hospital Information System (HIS)
• Maintaining the work area in a clean and organized manner.
