Get to Know Your Team: Hackensack Meridian Pascack Valley Medical Center is a 128-bed, full-service, acute-care community hospital with a new emergency department, a state-of-the-art maternity center, a women's imaging center, and an ICU.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology.
- 1+ years of experience performing Mammograms.
- Registered by ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) and certified in Mammography.
- Licensed by the State of New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection Bureau of X-ray Compliance.
- BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care.
- Rate of pay is determined based on experience and education, and may include other pay components such as differentials and call pay based on role.
Responsibilities
- assisting in the delivery of personalized, professional and quality patient care
- internal and external customer service
- performance of all diagnostic x-ray examinations
- transportation of patients to and from Imaging Services
- preparation of all departmental paperwork
- answering the department’s telephone
- scheduling of patients
- entering and retrieving patient information from the Picture Archiving Communication System (PACS) and Hospital Information System (HIS)
- maintaining the work area in a clean and organized manner
