About The Position

As a Mammography Technologist Trainee at RadNet, you will be joining a dedicated team of professionals committed to delivering quality patient care. This position offers dynamic cross-training and advancement opportunities in a team-focused environment. You will complete a 40-hour initial Mammography Training Course Webinar, including 8 hours of training in digital mammography, and receive reimbursement for this training. Additionally, you will complete 8 hours of training in Tomosynthesis and pass the California State Mammography Licensing Exam, with reimbursement provided by RadNet. Once certified, you will have the opportunity to become a full-time mammography technologist with RadNet. Your role will also involve participating in projects and meetings, safeguarding patient property and health information, and maintaining professional behavior towards patients and coworkers.

Requirements

• A current California State License in Diagnostic Radiologic Technology.
• ARRT (R) certification.
• BLS certification issued through the American Heart Association.
• Keen interest and ability to learn new skills in advanced radiology procedures such as Tomosynthesis and biopsies.
• Ability to remain professional in all situations and exercise sound judgment.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Complete a 40-hour initial Mammography Training Course Webinar with 8-hours of training in digital mammography.
• Complete 8-hours of training in Tomosynthesis.
• Pass the California State Mammography Licensing Exam.
• Participate in projects and/or meetings, and complete other tasks as assigned by management.
• Safeguard any on-site medications in accordance with company policies and legal requirements.
