About The Position

As a Mammography Technologist Trainee at RadNet, you will be joining a dedicated team of professionals committed to delivering quality, value, and access in patient care. This position involves completing a comprehensive training program that includes a 40-hour initial Mammography Training Course Webinar, hands-on training in mammography, and preparation for the ARRT mammography registry. You will also participate in projects and meetings, ensuring adherence to company policies and maintaining professional behavior towards patients and coworkers.

Requirements

  • A current State License in Diagnostic Radiologic Technology and ARRT (R) certification.
  • BLS certification issued through the American Heart Association.
  • A keen interest and ability to learn new skills in advanced radiology procedures such as Tomosynthesis and biopsies.
  • Resilience, adaptability, and compassion in patient care.
  • Ability to provide a calm and friendly demeanor during patient exams.
  • Quick thinking and ability to take appropriate action in emergent situations.

Responsibilities

  • Complete a 40-hour initial Mammography Training Course Webinar with 8-hours of training in digital mammography.
  • Complete 8-hours of training in Tomosynthesis.
  • Receive hands-on training in mammography in preparation for the ARRT mammography registry.
  • Pass the required Mammography Licensing Exam.
  • Become a full-time mammography technologist with RadNet once certified.
  • Participate in projects and/or meetings, and complete other tasks as assigned by management.
  • Safeguard any onsite medications in accordance with Company policies, procedures, and legal requirements.
  • Demonstrate respect for company property, including cash and patient financial information.
  • Exhibit and maintain professional behavior toward patients and coworkers.
  • Respect patient boundaries and cultural sensitivities during interactions.
  • Interact diplomatically and sympathetically with patients, their families, and the public.
  • Establish, nurture, and maintain cooperative working relationships.
