About The Position

Under general supervision of Manager of Breast Imaging, the Mammography technologist provides Mammographic technical skills to the Department mission. Duties are to work as technologist and duties in other areas and/or modalities as necessary. The Mammography technologist performs mammography exams for use of diagnosis and treatment of disease or injury to patients of all ages.

Requirements

• Requires knowledge of principles and procedures of diagnostic radiology and mammography.
• Completion of two years post-high school training in an approved school of Radiologic technology.
• MSRT/ARRT (M) certification required.
• State Radiology/mammography license required.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform mammography exams for diagnosis and treatment of disease or injury.
• Provide technical skills in mammography.
• Work in other areas and/or modalities as necessary.
