About The Position

The Mammography Technologist III position at Evanston Hospital is a full-time role requiring 32 hours of work per week. The working hours are during the day shift from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, with rotating weekends. This position does not require any travel.

Requirements

• High School degree or equivalent.
• CPR certification required.
• ARRT certification required.
• IEMA license required.
• 3 to 5 years of Mammography experience preferred.
• 1-2 years of supervisory experience preferred.
• Excellent communication and computer skills.
• Proficiency with word processing and computer skills required; typing 25-35 wpm.

Responsibilities

• Perform specialized exams under the direction of the staff radiologist.
• Perform a variety of technical and clerical duties that require independent judgment, ingenuity, and initiative to apply Mammography procedures.
• Maintain monthly budget constraints and perform yearly budgetary projections.
• Perform quality control on equipment according to ACR standards.
• Maintain supplies needed throughout the department.
• Schedule staff and maintain schedule updates.
• Explain procedures with tactful manners when there is a need for additional imaging.
