Organization: Breast Diagnostic Unit Job Summary: JOB SUMMARY Performs radiographic procedures at a technical level not requiring constant supervision of technical detail. Performs a variety of technical procedures which will require independent judgement, with ingenuity and initiative to apply prescribed ionizing radiation for radiologic diagnosis. Assumes responsibility for designated areas or procedures as required. Reports directly to the Director of Imaging on his/her shift. Is accountable for the professional and technical ability to perform high quality examinations with minimal supervision and within the protocols and guidelines set by the FDA/MQSA, ACR and the Department of Imaging Services. Each technologist shall be responsible for maintaining and stocking of supplies, rooms and equipment as outlined by department supervision. He/She has the responsibility of protection and safety to themselves, the patients and co-workers. He/She is expected to maintain high standards of technical competence and be an example and assist other technical personnel and student radiographers within the department . Shift Position: Industry competitive rates. Monday, Wed., Thurs 09:00-5:30 Tues 07:30-4:00, Friday 08:30-5:00

  • Help with diagnosis and treatment of breast disease in women patients
  • Registered in more than one modality
  • Communicate with the rest of the care team as needed
  • Ensuring that patients are comfortable and safe
  • LIC-American Registry of Radiologic Technologists - Licensure-Others
  • Relevant Work Experience Experience Level : 1 year
  • Graduate of an approved discipline specific program
