Mammographer Bring your passion to Texas Health so we are Better + Together Work location: Texas Health Plano, 6200 West Parker Road, Plano Texas 75093 and Texas Health Prosper, 1970 West University Drive, Prosper Texas 75078 Work hours: PRN Days Radiology Breast Center Department highlights: · Comprehensive Breast Center · Fellowship trained breast radiologists · Highly collaborative team environment Here’s What You Need · Graduate of an accredited school of radiologic technology required · Associate degree preferred · 1 year of clinical experience in Mammography preferred or · Meet the Mammography requirements as stated in Federal Register for MQSA in Final Rules, Part 900 12(a)(2) preferred · 1 year of clinical experience in Mammography highly preferred · ARRT - American Registry of Radiologic Technologists Radiography required and · ARRT - American Registry of Radiologic Technologists Mammography upon hire preferred or · ARRT - American Registry of Radiologic Technologists Mammography within 12 months required and · CMRT - Certified Medical Radiologic Technologist Either by the TDH or TMB upon hire required and · BCLS - Basic Cardiac Life Support prior to providing independent patient care and maintained quarterly required What You Will Do · Staff supervision and coordination of daily department activities · Schedule staff to provide adequate staff coverage including vacation schedules, absenteeism and turnover · Oversee orientation, training and cross-training of new staff to department, assesses their ability to work independently, communicates policies and procedures to staff, and verifies orientation paperwork · Assist in implementing and monitoring performance evaluation procedures, establishing professional development goals, and counseling staff on an ongoing basis as appropriate. · Act as a technical resource for staff by providing ongoing instruction and assistance with procedures, equipment and PAC · Perform mammograms and diagnostic radiographs. · Produce quality images in mammography as defined by the American College of Radiology guidelines. Requirements

  • Graduate of an accredited school of radiologic technology required
