About The Position
Provides age specific patient care and assessment. Assists in the maintenance of patient mammography information. Performs diagnostic and screening mammography examinations. Requirements
- Completion of a two or four year program in Radiologic Technology accredited by the American Medical Association
- One year experience in Radiography, and/or one year experience in Mammography. Stereotactic experience preferred.
- Registration by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists in Mammography required.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) training or retraining is required during orientation prior to providing patient care.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) is required to be maintained thru re-training for duration of employment.
