About The Position
Under the direction of a Radiologist and DI Director/Manager, administer ionizing radiation to patients producing diagnostic radiographic procedures at a technical level requiring no constant supervision of technical details. Performs a variety of procedures that will require independent judgment with ingenuity and initiative. Adheres to the ARRT/ASRT Code of Ethics.
Requirements
- A graduate of an ARRT accredited program
- 40 hours of initial Mammography training along with 25 supervised mammograms
- Associate Degree of Applied Science in Radiology
- 2 years of Mammography experience
- A.R.R.T. Registration with advance certification in Mammography
- IEMA Division of Nuclear Safety license
