The intermediate Mammography Technologist independently performs high-quality screening and diagnostic mammography examinations in an outpatient clinical setting. Provides direct patient care across diverse populations, ensures compliance with MQSA and ACR standards, and supports radiologists during diagnostic and interventional imaging procedures. The technologist applies sound clinical judgment, delivers compassionate, patient-centered care, and contributes to a safe, efficient, and high-quality breast imaging environment aligned with UT Health San Antonio's mission, vision, and values.
