About The Position

The Mammography /Breast Ultrasound technologist performs high quality breast imaging and procedures while under the general supervision of a licensed practitioner, within the scope of their license, and in accordance with department procedures and protocols. Demonstrates knowledge of imaging techniques according to established standards and practices of the American College of Radiology and Mammography Quality Standards Act. Demonstrates professional behavior/conduct in all interactions; fosters teamwork, efficient use of resources and quality patient outcomes.

Requirements

• Associates degree required
• ARRT-American Registry of Radiologic Techs RT(R)(M) certification required
• IEMA certification required
• Ultrasound: ARDMS or ARRT certification within 12 months of hire required
• One year Mammography experience required
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills required

Nice To Haves

• One year Breast Ultrasound experience preferred
• One year of Mammography experience preferred
