About The Position

The Mammography Tech I is responsible for the preparation and performing of all mammographic procedures and providing patient care.

Requirements

• Current State of California License - CRT (R)(M)
• ARRT (R)(M) preferred
• Current BLS provider card
• Completion of accredited Radiologic Technology and Mammography program
• New grad or less than two years of experience in the field of mammography

Nice To Haves

• Ability to perform mammographic x-ray procedures with the willingness to learn additional biopsy and breast ultrasound procedures and protocols
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Organizational skills
• Proficient reading, writing, grammar and math skills
• Knowledge of medical terminology
• Basic computer skills
• Knowledge of digital mammography
• Familiar with electronic Patient Health Information including medical records, order entry and patient tracking
