Requirements

• MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: Graduate from an accredited program in Radiologic Technology.
• Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
• Certified in Mammography (or will be within 1 year of hire) meeting requirements to perform mammography as defined in the ACR/FDA/MQSA standards.
• Holds American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS).

Nice To Haves

• PREFERRED: Prior experience in mammography.

Responsibilities

• Operates mammography equipment to produce radiographs of adolescent, adult and geriatric patients.
• This position is characterized by the ability to perform all types of mammography studies to include needle localization and ductograms.
• Works in areas requiring autonomy and indirect supervision.
