The Mammography Tech I shall be responsible for performing mammography imaging and related procedures as prescribed by physicians under the direction of a radiologist with little supervision. This role requires proficiency in both general X-ray and mammography imaging. The position is full time, with a schedule of Monday through Friday, hours ranging from 7a-3p and 8a-4p, and is based at NewYork-Presbyterian Hudson Valley Hospital, located at 1756 NY‑9D, Cold Spring, NY 10516.

Requirements

Certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technology (A.R.R.T.) in mammography required.
Licensure by New York State Department of Health.
Knowledge of radiographic and fluoroscopic procedures usually obtained by being a graduate of Committee on Allied Health Education and Accreditation (AMA) accredited educational program or equivalent.
Analytical skills in order to evaluate and perform mammography procedures.
Organizational skills necessary in order to plan and implement several procedures simultaneously and to coordinate work within the unit and department.
