About The Position

We are looking for a dedicated male security guard to ensure the safety and security of our liquor store in Las Vegas. This role involves monitoring the premises, addressing issues related to homeless individuals, and maintaining a secure environment for both customers and staff.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a security guard or relevant position.
• Ability to handle difficult situations with patience and tact.
• Strong observational skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods.

Nice To Haves

• Previous experience dealing with homeless individuals or in a similar environment.
• Training in self-defense or de-escalation techniques.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and patrol the store premises to prevent theft, vandalism, and disturbances.
• Address and handle situations involving homeless individuals with respect and professionalism, ensuring they do not loiter or cause disruptions.
• Maintain a visible presence to deter potential problems and provide a sense of security for customers and employees.
• Assist in emergency situations, providing assistance and coordinating with law enforcement when necessary.
• Write detailed incident reports for any security breaches or incidents that occur during the shift.
