About The Position
We are currently seeking Male Caregivers for Norwood. Visiting Angels of Chadds Ford is currently seeking amazing Caregivers to service clients in and around the Delaware and Chester county areas. Responsibilities of a Caregiver: Help keep clients’ home clean and clutter-free Assist with meal preparation, grocery shopping, and other errands Perform personal care tasks, including bathing and grooming Maintain communication between seniors, their family members, co-workers, and office staff Perform all non-medical home care services as needed Visiting Angels Chadds Ford, PA serves Delaware county, Chester county and the surrounding areas. ALL APPLICANTS MUST BE ABLE TO PROVIDE PROOF OF VACCINATION.
Requirements
- Driver’s license, and reliable personal transportation
- Completed or ability to complete a TB test (2-Step PPD, QuantiFERON or chest x-ray)
- Ability to pass background checks and drug screening
- At least 1 year of hands-on caregiving experience, working with seniors preferred
- A compassionate attitude and love for the senior community
- ALL APPLICANTS MUST BE ABLE TO PROVIDE PROOF OF VACCINATION.
Nice To Haves
- CNA, HHA, or DSP Certification preferred
- Dementia /ALZ care experience is a plus
