About The Position

We are seeking a dedicated and detail oriented Make Ready Technician to join our maintenance team in the multifamily industry. This individual will be responsible for ensuring that vacant apartment units are prepared and ready for new tenants. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in maintenance, a great work ethic, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements

• Previous experience in property maintenance, specifically in the multifamily industry or residential maintenance.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Strong troubleshooting skills and mechanical aptitude.
• Familiarity with basic plumbing, electrical, and HVAC systems.
• Ability to use common maintenance tools and equipment.

Responsibilities

• Complete all necessary repairs, replacements, and touch-ups to ensure apartments meet company standards for move-in readiness.
• Repair and replace appliances, fixtures, flooring, and cabinetry as needed.
• Patch and paint walls, ceilings, and trim to achieve a flawless finish.
• Must be knowledgeable of pertinent laws and EPA and OSHA regulations governing proper storage and management of hazardous materials, including solvents, flammables, caustics, Freon.
• Change locks and make keys.
• Work closely with the Property Management and Maintenance teams to prioritize work orders, ensuring timely turnovers.
