About The Position
Open House Atlanta Realty and Investments is searching for a skilled and reliable Make-Ready Technician to join our residential make-ready department. You will be responsible for repair duties for single-family homes purchased by our company. We are looking for a candidate who is skilled with their hands, knowledgeable in repairs, hard-working, with outstanding problem-solving abilities. Skillful hands, good physical stamina, and strong technical knowledge are important parts for this position. Summary of Responsibilities: Complete all assigned work for the entire make ready process from start to finish, adhering to company standards Repair plumbing, electrical and safety systems. Perform electrical repairs for residential properties, including lights and laundry. Perform general landscaping to exterior of property Perform patch, repair and carpet replacement as necessary Ensure mechanical equipment is in working order and fixed as necessary. Complete general cleaning and maintenance. Install and replace floors, stairs and piping as needed. Repair and paint doors, windows, walls, ceilings, roofs and other parts of the building. Maintain and repair air conditioning and heating systems as required. Other related repairs and work as assigned
Requirements
- Valid GA Driver's License
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- A minimum of 2 years’ working experience in a similar role.
- Solid experience with plumbing and electrical systems.
- Ability to work with hardware tools and power equipment.
- Extremely organized with good communication skills.
- Detail-oriented with an aptitude for problem-solving.
- Traveling to multiple sites across the Atlanta metro and nearby areas.
- A background check, drug screening and motor vehicle background search will be required for all final candidates during the application process.
- All candidates must have authorization to work in the United States.
- A final written offer of employment from Open House Texas/Atlanta Realty & Investments LLC will be contingent upon clear results of a thorough background check, drug screening and motor vehicle background search.
