About The Position

We are seeking a dependable Make Ready Technician to prepare vacant apartment units for new residents. This role is responsible for cleaning, performing basic repairs, painting, and ensuring units are safe and ready for move-in. The ideal candidate has general maintenance experience and strong attention to detail.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED preferred
• Experience in apartment maintenance, property maintenance, or general repairs preferred
• Basic knowledge of carpentry, painting, plumbing, or electrical systems
• Ability to use hand and power tools safely
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Valid driver’s license required
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
• Frequent standing, bending, and walking
• Ability to work indoors and outdoors in various weather conditions

Responsibilities

• Inspect vacant apartment units and identify needed repairs
• Clean units thoroughly including kitchens, bathrooms, floors, appliances, and windows
• Perform basic maintenance such as patching walls, painting, and replacing fixtures
• Repair or replace blinds, flooring, hardware, and appliances when needed
• Ensure plumbing, electrical, and HVAC systems are functioning properly
• Remove trash and debris from units and surrounding areas
• Maintain inventory of maintenance supplies
• Assist with general grounds maintenance as needed
• Follow safety procedures and company maintenance standards
• Work with maintenance and leasing teams to meet move-in deadlines
