About The Position

The Make Ready Technician is a temporary role supporting Plymouth properties by working to transform vacant apartments into move in ready spaces for our residents to call home. We are looking for someone who enjoys working with their hands and takes pride in your cleanliness and attention to detail. A majority of this role will be completing deep cleaning and light maintenance tasks. Plymouth Housing is a nonprofit organization that develops and operates permanent supportive housing for single adults who have experienced chronic homelessness. With apartment buildings throughout King County, Plymouth is helping the most vulnerable members of our community leave homelessness behind forever. At Plymouth, we’re not simply trying to get people off the streets. We provide supportive services like case management and health care so that our residents can thrive long-term. As part of our strategic vision, we are building internal behavioral health services and transforming our systems to address rapid growth and the changing needs of residents.

Requirements

Thorough knowledge and proper use of cleaning agents.
Proficiency in basic mechanical/appliance repair
Working knowledge of Hazmat procedures.
Ability to follow written instructions
Ability to communicate and work effectively with a team.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
High school diploma, GED certification or an equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience.
Janitorial/maintenance and multifamily or hospitality cleaning experience.
