About The Position

This position has turn-key responsibilities for all vacant units in preparation for a new move in. Responsibilities include to maintaining clean, sanitary and safe common areas around the community, such as laundry rooms, breezeways and grounds of the community.

Requirements

• Education: Must demonstrate literacy in the English language including reading
• Experience: One to two years of related experience and/or training
• Computer Skills: Not required.
• Certificates & Licenses: Valid State Issued Drivers’ License
• Other Requirements: Authorized to work in the United States

Responsibilities

• Complete make-ready process of vacant apartments as directed to include painting and cleaning if required.
• Responsible for alerting the Property Manager and Maintenance Supervisor of any concerns, occurrences and/or preventative maintenance that requires attention.
• Clean lobbies, lounges, rest rooms, corridors, elevators and stairways.
• Sweep, mops, scrub, wax and polish floors, vacuum hallways, stairs and office space.
• Shovel snow from walks and driveways.
• Spread salt on public passageways to prevent ice or snow build up.
• Wash walls, ceilings and woodwork.
• Wash windows, windowsill, doors, and door panels.
• Dust all furniture, fixtures and built in shelves or bookcases.
• Empty wastebaskets, trash cans, and ashtrays include those in the office space.
• Replenish supplies in the restrooms.
• Replace light bulbs.
• Move furniture.
• Clean drainage ditches and culvert.
• Clean grounds remove litter.
