This position is empowered by the Maintenance Supervisor to build and maintain a collaborative work environment while being able to consistently deliver the highest quality of customer service. Our Make Ready Technicians are instrumental in maintaining the facility at their community and develop standards that have a positive impact on resident renewals and customer satisfaction. What you'll do: Responsible for light maintenance, i.e., 'trashing' vacant apartments, removing carpet, etc. Responsible for light landscaping duties, i.e., weeding, watering, planting flowers, etc. Routinely inspects and maintains buildings and property to ensure appearance of the community is consistent with company standards and any applicable federal, state and local laws Assist Maintenance staff in ensuring Make Ready Units are consistent with the basic principles of electrical, plumbing, mechanical, HVAC, carpentry, painting, and drywall, appliance, keys and locks Snow removal when needed Provides high quality customer service according to GCI’s customer service principles in order to maximize resident retention

  • Provides high quality customer service according to GCI’s customer service principles in order to maximize resident retention
  • General Maintenance experience/Knowledge in HVAC, Plumbing, Carpentry, Electrical preferred
  • Dedication to exceeding the needs of all customers with an ability to build and maintain relationships
  • Demonstrate thoroughness, self-motivation and organization when accomplishing tasks
  • Ability to work a non-traditional schedule including evenings, weekends and on-call hours as needed
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent
  • Valid Drivers License Required
