About The Position

The Make Ready Technician is responsible for maintaining the property in a safe and attractive condition, assisting in all areas of maintenance, and delivering quality work efficiently and timely. This role involves corrective, preventive, and emergency maintenance tasks, ensuring the property meets the required standards for residents and visitors.

Requirements

• High School Education or equivalent.
• Full-time maintenance experience.
• Own basic set of hand tools.
• Good safety habits.
• Experience with electricity, HVAC systems, plumbing, and carpentry.
• Ability to perform in a courteous manner under pressure.
• Working knowledge in all aspects of apartment maintenance.

Nice To Haves

• Apartment industry experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Satisfies service requests per work orders, following company procedures.
• Performs apartment make-ready procedures including painting, cleaning carpets, and servicing appliances.
• Assists in making regular inspections of grounds, buildings, and equipment.
• On-call for emergency maintenance duties when assigned.
• Maintains inventory of tools, equipment, and supplies.
• Picks up trash on property as necessary and reports needed repairs to the Maintenance Supervisor.
• Attends instructional classes conducted by management and outside vendors.
