About The Position

The Major Repair Center & Facilities Manager is responsible for overseeing the operations of the Midland, Orla, and Diamondback facilities. This role includes ensuring efficient and safe facility operations, managing maintenance and equipment organization, and leading a team to achieve organizational goals. The manager will also handle inventory control, logistics, compliance, and cost management while providing technical support for gas and power operations.

Requirements

  • Technical diploma or a bachelor's degree in gas processing, heavy duty equipment maintenance, or a related field is preferred.
  • Operations experience in upstream oilfield operations.
  • Proven experience in facility management, with a strong track record of success.
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills.
  • Strong understanding of inventory management and warehouse processes.
  • Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices related to terminal operations and refurbishment center.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  • Proficiency in using inventory and maintenance management software and MS Office applications.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee all day-to-day depot operations, including receiving, storage, order processing, and dispatch of equipment and goods.
  • Ensure efficient utilization of space and resources within the facility.
  • Collaborate with HSEQ to implement and enforce safety procedures.
  • Conduct regular inspections to identify potential hazards and risks.
  • Communicate effectively with employees, management, and external parties regarding depot-related matters.
  • Coordinate drills and training sessions for staff on emergency procedures.
  • Monitor and maintain accurate inventory levels, conducting regular stock checks and audits.
  • Implement inventory management best practices to reduce shrinkage and ensure accurate stock records.
  • Recruit, train, and supervise depot staff, fostering a culture of teamwork and continuous improvement.
  • Set performance targets and conduct regular performance reviews.
  • Coordinate with transportation providers to ensure on-time delivery and receipt of goods.
  • Ensure compliance with industry regulations and company policies.
  • Prepare and submit regular reports on depot operations, including inventory levels, performance metrics, and incident reports.
  • Oversee the maintenance and repair of general equipment requested by the power and gas operations groups.
  • Create and manage a light duty fleet vehicle maintenance program.
  • Provide ad hoc support for gas compression services and power field support services.
  • Manage the depot budget effectively, controlling operational costs and expenses.
  • Develop and implement maintenance schedules for buildings, equipment, and systems.
