Job Summary The Major Account Manager will manage the Sales and Marketing responsibilities of WM MRFs (Material Recovery Facilities) as well all third-party accounts included in ones designated geography. Additionally, new business targets will be established and reviewed on an ongoing basis. The Major Account Manager is responsible for managing existing WM Recycling business relationships in order to achieve budgeted sales goals by developing and implementing sound retention strategies, utilizing strong negotiation efforts to preserve business, and securing contract agreements from previously non-contracted customers. There is a strong emphasis on maximizing price on existing MRF and third party volumes as well as developing profitable new third party business. This is a field-based position eligible to participate in sales compensation and recognition programs upon successful completion of sales orientation and/or training programs. II.
