About The Position

As a Major Account Executive, you’ll focus on high-value accounts requiring sophisticated solutions and a high level of stakeholder alignment. You’ll be a trusted advisor to C-level executives, crafting tailored IT and compliance solutions that support their long-term growth.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of B2B sales experience, with a strong background in IT solutions, MSPs, or professional services.
  • Proven track record managing major or strategic accounts.
  • Demonstrated experience selling to the C-suite, including CFOs, CTOs, and CISOs.
  • Exceptional consultative selling, negotiation, and solution design skills.
  • Familiarity with navigating RFPs, procurement, and legal/compliance processes.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset and a proactive approach to identifying new opportunities.
  • Willingness to travel across Connecticut and the Northeast as needed.
  • HubSpot or comparable CRM experience required.

Responsibilities

  • Build and manage relationships with senior executives and key decision-makers at mid-market and enterprise-level organizations.
  • Identify and pursue major account opportunities with long sales cycles and higher revenue potential.
  • Partner with Technical Solutions Architects to design and present comprehensive IT service solutions that address compliance (HIPAA, CMMC, SOC 2, etc.) and strategic business needs.
  • Lead high-stakes discovery meetings and onsite business reviews with executive stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with vCIOs, project teams, and technical resources to ensure alignment across solution design and delivery.
  • Represent Charles IT at high-level industry events and roundtables to elevate brand presence among top-tier clients.
  • Maintain accurate pipeline forecasting and account planning in HubSpot CRM.
