Blue Cross Blue Shield Wyoming is looking for a dynamic and driven individual to join our team as a Major Account Development Executive. This role is focused on generating new sales in the large group market (50+), ASO group, and ancillary product lines. The Major Account Development Executive will maintain high persistency rates and provide top-notch service to our valued clients, ensuring timely and professional service to enrolled group and ancillary product subscribers. The position involves suggesting insights to management on customer needs, competitive activity, and market conditions. Collaboration with the sales team, agents, brokers, and consultants is essential to achieve retention goals and ensure seamless delivery of products and services, enhancing the overall customer experience.

  • Generate new sales in the large group market (50+), ASO group, and ancillary product lines.
  • Maintain high persistency rates and provide top-notch service to clients.
  • Provide timely and professional service to enrolled group and ancillary product subscribers.
  • Suggest insights to management on customer needs, competitive activity, and market conditions.
  • Collaborate closely with the sales team, agents, brokers, and consultants to achieve retention goals.
  • Work with various departments to ensure seamless delivery of products and services.
  • Bachelor’s Degree (typically in Marketing or Sales) or commensurate experience.
  • Current license to sell health insurance in Wyoming (or ability to obtain within 90 days).
  • Valid driver’s license.
  • Three months or more of work experience, typically in customer relations.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Effective retention techniques and thorough knowledge of products and competitors.
  • Ability to conduct outside sales and provide continued service via telephone and on-site visits.
  • Proficiency in using consumer relationship management systems.
  • Understanding of large fully insured group and ASO group contracts, including benefit administration and legal requirements.
