About The Position

A high-volume restaurant group located in Midtown is seeking an experienced and polished Maitre’d to oversee guest service and dining experience. Restaurant experience is a MUST for this role.

Requirements

• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience as a Maitre’d or in a similar role in a high-end restaurant.
• Exceptional communication and leadership skills.
• Strong knowledge of food, wine, and restaurant operations.
• Ability to manage a busy dining room and multitask effectively.
• High level of professionalism and attention to detail.
• Restaurant industry experience is required.

Responsibilities

• Greet and welcome guests, ensuring a high standard of hospitality.
• Oversee the flow of the dining room, managing reservations and seating arrangements.
• Coordinate with the kitchen and service staff to ensure timely and efficient service.
• Handle guest complaints and issues, resolving them in a professional manner.
• Maintain an updated knowledge of the menu, wine list, and specials.
• Assist with training and supervising the front-of-house staff.
• Manage VIP guests and special events to ensure an exceptional experience.
