Maintain a clean and safe work area. Learn and retain on the job training. Follow schedules and perform work as assigned by department supervisor. Perform other related duties and assignments as required. EXPERIENCE/SKILLS DESIRED: Must be able to read blueprints, wiring diagrams, technical manuals and specifications. Must be familiar with precision measuring equipment, electrical controls, plant wiring and plumbing. Must have a strong background in electrical wiring and controls. Must be able to use simple math and basic hand-held measuring tools. Must be able to perform repetitive tasks while staying focused in a fast-paced environment. WORKING ENVIRONMENT/PHYSICAL DEMANDS: Familiar with preventative maintenance programs. Possesses technical aptitude and mental/physical/visual acuity. Good analytical and interpersonal skills. Demonstrated commitment to continuous quality improvement, proficiency in oral and written communications. Demonstrated ability to work well in a team environment, thinks independently and shows initiative. Manufacturing environment which requires precautions, training, and safety equipment (including safety glasses, ear plugs, closed toe shoes, gloves, etc.) Frequent exposure to moving mechanical parts while performing a job. Must be able to stand for eight (8) hours or more per day, while bending and twisting. Must be able to lift, push or pull up to fifty (50) lbs. Must be able to use hands and fingers, to handle or feel objects, tools, or controls. Must be able to walk, reach with hands and arms, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, talk and hear. Specific vision abilities required include close vision, peripheral vison, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus.
