About The Position

PRIMARY FUNCTION Maintains and repairs all electrical/ mechanical components and hydraulics/pneumatics of industrial machinery and facilities. Performs repair work on all supporting equipment needed for production and facilities. Installs new equipment and supports repairs or upgrades to all Bonney Forge facilities. QUALIFICATIONS : To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. TYPICAL DUTIES Perform repairs and up keep on all Bonney Forge Facilities, inside and outside. Reads and understands mechanical drawings, blueprints and electrical schematics. Troubleshoots electrical and mechanical systems on the production equipment. Recommend corrective action and reasonable repairs to supervision. Communicates with supervisor on all procedures being performed. Completes all repairs in a safe and timely manner with little to no instruction. Performs scheduled preventive maintenance tasks on all machines and equipment. Record all PM findings in our CMMS. Keeps records in Maintenance Connection of all work performed and communicates with other shifts on tasks at hand. Work with supervisors and set-up personnel in problem solving to development new processes. Maintains inventory of materials used in performance of duties. Practices safe work habits and instructs others in performance of safety procedures. Maintains a clean and orderly work area. Performs welding, machining, and grinding necessary to repair or rebuild machinery. Operates forklifts. GENERAL Responsible for all facets of facility maintenance, including plumbing, electrical, welding and other duties as assigned. Must be a self-motivated, self-starter that is always on the lookout for potential problems while performing their normal job. Must be very dependable with the ability to adjust hours to suit the required needs to complete the jobs at hand. TOOLS & EQUIPMENT Various hand tools (required) line testers, volt meters, amp meters, and other related equipment and tools. Grinders, gauges, measuring instruments, hand tools, air tools, power equipment hoists, forklifts & equipment normally used in repair work.

Requirements

Must be a self-motivated, self-starter that is always on the lookout for potential problems while performing their normal job.

Responsibilities
