About The Position

Quality Automotive Services, a privately-owned Franchisee of Valvoline Instant Oil Change (VIOC), operates 114 locations across multiple states including North Carolina, South Carolina, Kentucky, Indiana, Ohio, West Virginia, Georgia, Utah, Montana, Colorado, and Wyoming. The company is experiencing rapid growth and anticipates continued expansion. This full-time Maintenance position requires significant travel, up to 80% with overnight stays, and involves responding to emergency calls, performing preventive maintenance, diagnosing and repairing equipment, and handling various plumbing and carpentry tasks across the company's facilities.

Requirements

Must have a clean, valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

Respond immediately to emergency calls from management and resolve maintenance and repair issues in an efficient and timely manner.
Perform regular preventive maintenance on machines, equipment, and facilities.
Read and interpret equipment manuals and work orders to perform required maintenance and service.
Diagnose problems, replace or repair parts, test, and make adjustments.
Perform mechanic skills including, but not limited to, mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, troubleshooting, and repair of equipment.
Perform a variety of plumbing maintenance and carpentry functions.
Use a variety of hand and power tools, electric meters, and material handling equipment in performing duties.
Detect faulty operations, and defective material and report those and any unusual situations to proper supervision.
Comply with all policies, procedures, and Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) rules while carrying out maintenance functions.
Maintain clean and orderly work areas.
Keep records of all day-to-day maintenance activities and expense reports (equipment purchases, gas receipts, etc.)
