About The Position

Job Summary: Job Summary: This job listing is for the 2026 season. THE JOB PNC Bank Arts Center in Holmdel NJ is seeking staff who will be responsible for general maintenance, minor repairs, and overall daily upkeep of the venue. This includes a variety of cleaning and maintenance tasks as well as ensuring a clean and safe environment. WHAT THIS ROLE WILL DO Maintain a safe, clean, and welcoming venue at all times. Lead all event setup, breakdown, and onsite equipment maintenance to ensure a safe and fully functional venue for guests. Perform basic electrical, carpentry, landscaping, and plumbing tasks within the scope permitted for non-certified personnel. Ensure the venue is show-ready prior to guest arrival each event night. Keep work areas neat and orderly, clean equipment, and assist with other cleaning or maintenance duties as assigned. Demonstrate commitment to sustainability by participating in venue recycling efforts before, during, and after events. Read and interpret equipment manuals and work orders to perform required basic maintenance and repairs. Respond to maintenance requests efficiently and diligently, seeking support from supervisory staff when necessary. Participate in post-show cleanup, including picking up and sorting trash, recycling, and compostable materials. Operate a variety of hand and power tools, electric meters, and material handling equipment as required for daily operations.

Requirements

  • Willingness to provide excellent customer service.
  • Acute sense of judgment, tact, and diplomacy.
  • Position requires constant walking, climbing stairs, lifting and carrying 50 lbs+
  • Must be 18 or older to apply.
