Maintenance
About The Position
Perform all required preventative maintenance. Perform repairs on the machinery in the shipping department. Monitor the machinery and dust systems. Must have working knowledge of both arc and oxyacetylene welding, work at heights over 50 feet and in dusty environments, able to be contacted after hours, at night and on weekends, and to move heavy weights, up to 100 lbs, with help. Must be able to work standing up, climb ladders, work at heights or in tight spaces, follow both written and verbal instructions. Must be able to be fit tested to wear respirator equipment. Must be able to ride a man lift.
Requirements

- One year certificate from college or technical school; or High School Diploma or GED preferred.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for food safety by following HACCP and Food Safety policies/procedures.
- Responsible for plant safety by observing persons entering your work area, asking if you can assist them, and reporting unauthorized persons to your supervisor.
- Attend training as required or approved by supervisor.
- Maintain (grease, oil, adjust, etc) and repair mill equipment (bucket elevators, screw conveyors, drag conveyors, screeners, etc) as assigned or scheduled and assist Skilled Maintenance personnel on projects.
- Other duties may be assigned.
