Requirements

  • Must have experience in residential remodeling, plumbing, electrical, welding, garage door repair and low voltage security systems/cameras.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain entire warehouse building, both inside and outside, in a safe productive and efficient manner.
  • Repairing, fabricating, and welding of racks, dock plates, dock doors, and overall building.
  • Repair dock lights, lights, and other electric appliances.
  • Respond to fire alarms.
  • Repair plumbing and sprinkler systems, handle testing, contractor safety, PPM readings, calibration of instruments, PC controls on computer that monitors refrigeration systems, PMC 2000 software system, computer skills – MS applications.
  • Work closely with others in the department and share responsibility in solving problems, coordinating work activities, and repairing equipment. Be a positive team-oriented associate and have good follow through.
  • Effectively interact and work with manager to ensure the most efficient and cost-effective operation.
  • Ensure the cleanliness and maintenance of shop and shop equipment through regular inspections.
  • Troubleshoot problems.
  • Ability to work various days and times based on the needs of the business.
  • Clean up work area and tools between job assignments.
  • Must have experience in residential remodeling, plumbing, electrical, welding, garage door repair and low voltage security systems/cameras.
  • Perform other duties as required.
  • Perform routine preventive maintenance tasks on industrial equipment.
  • Troubleshoot and repair of industrial equipment.
  • Repairs damage to industrial equipment when it occurs.
  • Assists in developing and editing the tasks required to develop and update preventive maintenance procedures.
  • Documents the use of man-hours and any supplies or parts used.
  • May be called upon to help with other maintenance activities including building maintenance and refrigeration maintenance.
  • Work a flexible schedule.
  • Other jobs as assigned.
