About The Position

This position will use their skillset in the installation, preventive maintenance, and repair of ALL manufacturing equipment at Power Partners (a division of ERMCO). This hands-on role requires precision, physical stamina, and a strong commitment to safety and quality. You’ll contribute directly to our mission by ensuring each unit meets our rigorous standards and reflects our core values.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma required
  • Understand and follow instructions (spoken and written).
  • Stay organized and pay attention to details.
  • Perform basic math (add, subtract, multiply, divide).
  • Lift safely using proper techniques.
  • Use hands and arms to handle tools and materials.
  • Use measuring tools and hand/power tools.
  • Operate lifting equipment like overhead hoists.
  • Lift/push over 75 lbs. and pull up to 60 lbs.
  • Stand and walk frequently; occasionally sit, bend, reach, or kneel.
  • Have good vision, including depth perception and focus (20/40 or better with or without glasses/contacts).
  • Follow all safety rules and wear required PPE (steel-toed shoes, safety glasses, gloves, hearing protection).
  • Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems (e.g., gearboxes, pumps, belts, conveyors, sensors).
  • Weld using at least two methods (TIG, MIG, or Stick).
  • Understand basic PLC functions.
  • Install equipment, including leveling and plumbing air lines and conduit.
  • Work independently on mechanical and electrical tasks.
  • Maintain high standards of workmanship, integrity, and efficiency.

Responsibilities

  • Understand and carry out detailed written/verbal instructions regarding the installation, preventive maintenance, and repair of ALL manufacturing equipment.
  • Complete training to ensure safe and proper operation of tools, equipment, and installation of manufacturing equipment.
  • Repeatedly lift/move material that is 50+ lbs. with or without assistance from lifting devices and/or co-workers.
  • Ensure all equipment is functioning at optimum levels by performing short-term repairs and long-term improvements as specified on work orders and preventative maintenance schedules.
  • Follow all safety policies and procedures.
