About The Position

The Maintenance position is responsible for completing maintenance task to repair equipment and preserve the quality of the facility. by completing various tasks throughout building per schedule or on an as needed basis.

Requirements

  • Has basic maintenance knowledge which includes plumbing, electrical, carpentry, groundskeeping etc.
  • Works well independently
  • Strong time management
  • Follows written and verbal instructions from manager
  • Has excellent communication skill
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to manage sensitive and confidential situations with tact, professionalism, and diplomacy
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail is a must
  • Judgement and high level of integrity
  • High initiative and reliable
  • Ability to work in a culture of diversity, inclusivity, collaboration, and teamwork
  • Must be able to have long periods being able to stand, bend, or walk for 100% of the shift as needed
  • Must be able to quickly ascend and descend stairs and move, as needed
  • Must have excellent visual and auditory acuity to see, hear, and interpret observable people, things, behavior, and speech.
  • Must be able to lift upwards of 50 pounds
  • High School Diploma or GED required

Nice To Haves

  • Maintenance or area of maintenance certification, preferred
  • Prior related maintenance experience, preferred

Responsibilities

  • Perform routine maintenance check
  • Overseeing inventory of cleaning supplies and tools
  • Basic janitorial duties as needed including, but not limited to, sweeping, vacuuming, and mopping floors, Cleaning, disinfecting, and restocking restrooms
  • Emptying trash and recycle bins
  • Washing windows and mirrors
  • Uses common cleaning tools and equipment
  • Perform routine maintenance and repair on areas such as structure damage, leaking plumbing, or damaged wiring, patching, and painting
  • Hanging items, moving furniture, putting together furniture or equipment
  • Apply preventive maintenance measures for upcoming weather conditions or scheduled maintenance
  • Fixing potential safety hazards
  • Following lead from Building Manager with assigned tasks as needed to support operations
  • Possess knowledge and understanding of company policy, procedure, and operational requirements
  • Provide excellent customer service
  • Other duties as assigned
