About the position

The Maintenance position at the bank involves a variety of responsibilities focused on maintaining the cleanliness and functionality of bank properties, vehicles, and equipment. The role requires performing general maintenance tasks, ensuring the upkeep of the grounds, and managing supplies and documentation related to maintenance activities.

Responsibilities

• Dusts and cleans the ATM machines as needed
• Sweeps outside entrances to the bank and motor bank as needed
• Keeps sidewalks clean and free of grass or weeds
• Ensures cleanliness of parking lots as needed
• Cleans the Motor Bank drive-through areas
• Maintains absorbent material on oil spills where needed
• Picks up all trash around the buildings and parking lots
• Maintains Real Estate Property of the Bank at all times
• Cleans the Bank vehicles and has them serviced as needed
• Maintains fuel levels in Bank vehicles
• Ensures proper documentation of employee use, including destination and mileage logs
• Vacuum both vaults, clean mirrors, and dust vault counters as needed
• Cleans and polishes vault doors as needed
• Cleans the mantrap as needed
• Services the Air Conditioner drains monthly with Clorox mixture
• Works with vendors at all branches relating to Air Conditioning, plumbing, electrical, etc.
• Maintains supplies, keeping them stored and in order
• Pulls supplies and delivers to branches as needed
• Helps with removal and destruction of old records as needed
• Drives to all branches to make deliveries and pick up work in bank vehicle
• Helps with Christmas decorations by bringing the trees and decorations downstairs and returning them to storage at the end of the season
• Defrosts refrigerator and icemaker as needed
• Maintains the water and ice machines
• Replaces light bulbs and air conditioner filters as needed for all locations
• Maintains clean light fixtures, ceiling tiles, and A/C grates
• Ensures flags at all locations are in good shape and replaces as needed
• Cleans up lobby in emergency situations
• Helps with parties and special events
• Moves furniture and equipment as needed
• Performs basic landscaping, trimming, and pruning
• Performs general maintenance as needed
• Completes other duties as assigned

Requirements

• High School Diploma/GED preferred
• Maintenance experience preferred
• Project management skills
• Interpersonal skills
• Good verbal, oral, and written communication skills
• Demonstrates ethical character and judgment with attention to respect, commitment, integrity, values, and confidential boundaries
