About The Position

HEICO Component Repair Group, a global leader in the overhaul and repair of aircraft components, is currently looking for a Maintenance Worker to join our facility operations team. This is an excellent opportunity for a dependable, hands-on individual who enjoys solving problems, maintaining equipment, and contributing to a safe and efficient workplace environment. As a Maintenance Worker, you will be responsible for performing a variety of tasks to maintain, repair, and improve the facility and its equipment. This includes basic electrical, plumbing, and mechanical work, as well as routine inspections, preventive maintenance, responding to service requests in a timely manner, and being responsible for all equipment maintenance on the test stands, compressors, chillers, etc. You will work closely with department supervisors to identify maintenance needs, ensure compliance with safety standards, and assist with facility upgrades or emergency repairs as needed. This role is crucial to supporting daily operations and maintaining a clean, functional, and safe work environment across all areas of the facility. Requirements

  • Must have understanding in electrical work
  • Must have understanding in general plumbing
  • Out-the-box thinker
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Must be able to work in a team

Nice To Haves

  • Preferred experience with welding
  • Preferred to have experience in troubleshooting and maintenance pumps and motors
  • Preferred to have experience with forklifts
  • Preferred to have experience in troubleshooting and maintenance HVAC units

Responsibilities

  • Performing a variety of tasks to maintain, repair, and improve the facility and its equipment
