About The Position

The position of Maintenance is responsible for the proper maintenance, cleanliness of the building and grounds. Ensures that all work performed are in accordance with established company policies, procedures, and guidelines, as well as in compliance with local and federal regulations.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Experience in maintenance required.

Responsibilities

• Recognize, communicate, and resolve any cleanliness, aesthetic on repair issues through weekly walk throughs of all, Agape facilities internally and externally.
• Responsible for upkeep of all AGAPE properties and equipment, assuring that said properties and equipment are always in a safe operating condition.
• Schedule all routine and non-routine maintenance tasks to assure that all work is accomplished as required and completed at the earliest possible time.
• Assist in maintains and coordinates all safety inspections and certifications required by the government, and federal agencies, such as but not limited to fire extinguishers, building inspection and safety, EPA, among others.
• Ensure all maintenance work performed on AGAPE properties and equipment is done in a safe manner and that the work meets the requirements of the various Miami-Dade codes and contract requirements.
• Performs setting-up and installation of all facility-related requirements for company sponsored events, conferences, fairs, in a timely and efficient manner and in accordance with the specifications as detailed in the work order.
• Sets up and operates all tools and equipment necessary to perform repairs and maintenance work in any of the facilities.
• Assist in to coordinate the removal of damaged, broken, and unwanted items from the AGAPE property and seeing to their proper disposal.
• Responsible for facility cleanliness, sanitation, garbage disposal, etc. on a daily basis.
• Be able to take initiative in all aspects of facilities maintenance and alert management to schedule maintenance or remodeling.
• In case of emergency, hurricane or other disaster, will be prepared and willing, to perform all task necessary to prepare all AGAPE properties and equipment for the emergency and its aftermath.
• Always communicate whereabouts and progress on projects/tasks to supervisor.
• Will be available, on-call for emergency services as needed.
• Perform all other duties as appropriate and assigned.
