About The Position

The Maintenance Worker at our Huntsville office is responsible for day-to-day care of our facilities buildings and grounds. This will include use of cleaning tools such as vacuums and regular cleaning/maintenance tasks: i.e., dusting, vacuuming, taking out the trash. This is an full-time, hourly position that works Monday- Friday, 8am-5pm. What you’ll be doing: Responsible for coordination of custodial services to include sweeping, mopping, vacuuming of floors, dusting furniture, disinfecting restrooms, emptying trash and replacing liners, locking/unlocking buildings, restocking cleaning supplies and restroom items for Wellstone's Huntsville location and satellite locations. Responsible for ensuring the grounds and exterior of the facilities are acceptable. Maintaining thorough inventory of cleaning materials. Responsible for reporting repair needs to supervisor, following safety protocols, and cleaning up spills. Complete other duties as assigned. Requirements

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent
  • Minimum 1 year /housekeeping non-residential experience
  • Ability to lift 50 lbs., stand for long periods of time, and work outdoors
  • Ability to work efficiently, often without direct supervision
